A measurable
market for nature.

02.1 / Brief

CreditNature wanted to make private capital flow into nature recovery the way it already flows into carbon. We built the platform that lets them do it — a digital nature-credits system backed by their NARIA framework, used on projects from Scottish rewilding to East African conservation.

§ 02 The brief What they came to us with

A platform that turns the science of ecological restoration into something a capital allocator can actually buy.

CreditNature’s NARIA framework (Natural Asset Recovery Investment Analytics) is a peer-reviewed methodology for measuring how much an ecosystem is recovering. The brief was to build the platform that makes that measurement usable — both for the people doing the restoration work on the ground, and for the investors funding it from a desk in London or Zurich.

Two audiences, one workflow. Real-time impact reporting on one side, portfolio management on the other, the science staying intact through both.

§ 03 What we did Four disciplines
Product strategy

Translating a science-led framework into a platform investors and landowners can both use.

Product design

UX for two distinct audiences — capital and conservation — sharing one workflow.

Web design

A visual language honest enough to carry ecological data without dressing it up.

Web development

A platform built to scale from a handful of projects to a global portfolio.

§ 04 Outcomes Where it’s landed

The platform is live, accredited by Accounting for Nature, and running on projects from Scottish peatland restoration to East African conservation. It gives investors real-time visibility on the ecological outcomes of their capital — and gives the people doing the restoration a way to be measured fairly for the work they’re actually doing.
